A lot of people hated Edge of Tomorrow because Tom Cruise.

I’ve never seen people mention this as a problem, it’s universally liked as far as I can tell. I have seen it mentioned humorously, as in “as a bonus, if you don’t like Tom Cruise you can watch him die in this movie, like, a lot”.

His old show was better. But I can’t imagine it working well any more, when reality is already so absurd.

We were talking about the action scenes being believable.

There were no scientists in Alien. It’s a bunch of space truckers and they’re infinitely more competent than the hand picked group in Prometheus.

I love the first one and would argue it’s fairly grounded, it’s the sequels that quickly got unhinged.

I think the LGBT+ movement needs a reality check if they want to cut the rest of society out of that discussion.

Highlighting that is the idea.

A lot of banger songs don’t belong in a Star Trek intro.
